What is important to me as Sheriff?

As Sheriff, Aaron will be committed to ensuring Harnett County deputies and detention officers receive the training, resources, and professional development they need. Investing in our personnel strengthens the Sheriff’s Office and improves the service residents receive. Supporting those who serve Harnett County will remain a top priority.

Our senior citizens deserve to feel supported, valued, and connected to their Sheriff’s Office. As Sheriff, Aaron plans to establish a voluntary program providing regular check-in calls for seniors who live alone or may need additional support. This initiative will offer reassurance to seniors and greater peace of mind to their families.

As Sheriff, Aaron will support ongoing improvements to the Harnett County Detention Center to maintain a secure, efficient, and professionally operated facility. This includes investing in staff, equipment, technology, and facility needs. These improvements will help protect employees, inmates, and the taxpayers of Harnett County.

Strong relationships between law enforcement and residents begin with trust and meaningful engagement. As Sheriff, Aaron will invest in programs such as the Police Activities League, Youth Cadets, and volunteer opportunities that connect deputies with people throughout Harnett County. These partnerships will help build a stronger and more connected community.
