Dear Harnett County Citizens,

I am very excited to announce my candidacy for Sheriff of Harnett County. I began my law enforcement career at the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office over 27 years ago and rose through every rank to my current position of Major to prepare me for this important next step. I have been very fortunate to lead several divisions at the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office in recent years. Those leadership opportunities have been instrumental in shaping my character and have allowed me to highlight my ability to lead.

Harnett County is growing rapidly and I believe the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office must responsibly grow at that same pace to provide the service and protection you would expect and deserve from your Sheriff’s Office. I have shown that I have the ability to lead that growth as your next Sheriff.
